AMVETS Swartz Creek and American Legion Swartz Creek, a dedicated group of Veterans united by a shared vision. They believed that no Veteran should face lonely moments alone, especially within the walls of a hospital. This vision became the Veteran-to-Veteran Support Program, born from the simple act of the Swartz Creek AMVETS Post 3720 reaching out. Volunteers, all who are Veterans themselves, stepped forward to offer companionship, understanding and reassurance that their brothers and sisters in arms are never forgotten.
